Learning Serbian inside Telegram: 88 lessons, a case trainer and an interactive history of the country.
Tens of thousands of Russian speakers have moved to Serbia in the last few years. Serbian is missing from Duolingo and from most large learning services, so what is left are textbooks, tutors and scattered websites. None of them lives in a phone or fits into five minutes a day.
The app runs inside Telegram: no install, no sign-up, no payment. It carries 88 lessons across A1–B1, 1,032 words, 668 exercises, a trainer for all seven cases, spaced repetition, a visual novel and a nine-chapter saga through Serbian history.
I designed the product and the system it runs on, wrote the interface voice, art-directed thirty illustrations and shipped the whole thing to production. Everything below is the live app, not a mockup.
